leaving messages on server

I have a situation where when I set my POP account up in Entourage I
didn't indicate that I wanted to leave the messages on the server - so
it didn't. I really need that feature because there are three of us
that all access an email account and they are using Mac Mail - so it
removed all of the emails from their program.

Is there a way to "put" messages back on the server without having to
go back and forward them all back to myself? (then I'll have two
copies!) We're talking about 200 messages +.

I'm hoping there is a way!!!!!

thanks

Sorry, but there is not a way. Depending on if the computers are connected
on a network, you could look at creating a folder of the messages and
copying them to the other computers for import into Mac Mail.

In En'rage: Tools -> Accounts, double click the POP3 account in question and
choose the Options tab, turn on "Allow Online Access". The account will show
up as an icon in the the folder list. One click on this icon (while online)
and En'rage starts to download the Headers of all messages from the POP3
server. Click any message you want to read and the entire message is
downloaded and displayed for you to read in the preview area.

Missing Manual. Page 298. The hotel-room feature: online access. Works in
2004).

You can choose to download any message by clicking (once) on the Online
Status icon and choosing Download message. The message stays on the POP3
server until you change its Online Status, or download the messages on the
POP3 server with any options there may be in the Send and Receive menu.

There is no way to take all the emails from your POP account to a web based
email account unless you forward all the emails to yourself, because POP
account all the emails are downloaded onto your computer and web based email
you are only viewing off the server
