Lines around pics added by Photoalbum route > No way to stop them?

When I use the Photo album tool to add a bunch of pix to PowerPoint2002
(XP), every one ends up with a thin black line around it afterwards. The
other odd thing about this method, is that no matter how you make Photo
album tool put a whole bunch of files in at once, the first one is always
the last one in the dialog box listing, and you have to move it back to
the top of the list, which is crappy, when you've added 25 or 30 pix that
way. Any suggestions for a workaround, or do I continue to use
MacroMagic (iolo.com) to fix everything automatically ??

You can remove the lines once the photo album is created, but I prefer to use
the Image Importer Wizard from http://skp.mvps.org/iiw.htm. It gives you much
greater flexibility.

Maybe I don't understand the second part of your question because for me the
first selected photo stays in first place. If I select photos individually they
are inserted following the one highlighted in the list.

Sonia,

Deleting each of the imnages' lines is a three-part step ... if I have
25 images that I have imported, that's 75 needless steps. And it
appears that there is no Option in PP that lets you fix that thing....
If you get into that line removal dialog box, there is a radio button
that lets you change your amended image as the default... but the damage
is already done, so to speak...

If I add images from a directory and select a bunch with the shift key
held down, the first image selected always ends up as the last one in
the list...

Thanks for the tip on the add-in

Bill
