Link to a website in an email

Hello:

I¹m trying to send someone a link to a website. How do I place it so that
they can click on the link and it will take them directly to that website
address? All I¹m able to do is copy/paste it at the moment. I¹ve tried
clicking on ³link² and ³hyperlink² but nothing seems to work.

I¹m using Entourage for Office X on a Mac G4 with system 10.3.9.

If you have HTML formatting turned on (Format > HTML), hyperlinks will be
made active automatically once the message is saved or sent. You should be
able to verify this yourself by going to the Sent Items folder and testing
the hyperlink. Just make sure that you include the "http://" protocol
prefix.
