Linked object is cut in pp

hello,
i'm using office 2000
and i want to insert a linked object out of a excel sheet
into a slide in powerpoint.
but by reaching a certain number of colums (or by other
reasons), the object is cut in the slide and isn't shown
completely.
How to solve this problem???
