linking cells

Hi im totally baffled.
run a small business need to make live easier having to duplicate cel
info manually into other worksheets.

dont understand where to start
initially i give a custer a ref no. take all basic info then assign t
an employee who has there own spreadsheet with more info on that perso
there are also various woorksheets inside this

How do I get them to link??

please help URGEN

To link a cell from one sheet to another.......

Assume two sheets, sheet1 and sheet2

In sheet2 in a cell =Sheet1!A1

When A1 in sheet1 changes, the cell in sheet2 will update.

You can also link across workbooks in the same manner, except preface the
formula with the workbook name.

You can also select a cell or cells on sheet1 or book1, copy then switch to
other sheet or book and Paste Special>"Paste Link".

Excel will add the linking formula(s)
