linking the correct way

Using FP 2003 in Office XP, what is the correct way to link to a site that
is within my on web. Apparently I am not doing something correct because it
is leaving off the www in the urls.
After i link the html looks like this...

<a href="goodwrench4002-97.htm">Goodwrench 400</a>
02/23/97<br clear="right">

Shouldn't the entire address be in the html something like this....

<a href="http://www.coops.com/goodwrench4002-97.htm">Goodwrench 400</a>
02/23/97<br clear="right">

The site comes up but on my machine the www is missing. Am i doing something
wrong?

Hopefully someone can help with this,
Thanks Tom

When working w/i a FP site all links should be relative (to the page the link is in)
as in
<a href="goodwrench4002-97.htm">Goodwrench 400</a>

This allows FP to maintain them as you move pages around

PS
your Appraisal page has the incorrect extension stml instead of shtml
http://coops.com/appraisals.stml

Oh wow, I typed the wrong site anyway. My site is www.coopscorner.com So
the way I have my sites linked is ok? Does the www show up on other
computers but just not mine?
Does the www not being on the url hinder it when someone uses a search
engine?
Thanks for your help,
Tom
