Linking word document to Office

How do I link a letter or transmittal to office, so that when I click on my
contacts I can instantly create a transmittal? This way their information is
automatically filled out in the transmittal and I don't have to fill it out
every time I create a transmittal to this client.

Link to office "what". R-click a entry in your Outlook contacts, select
New Message to contact.
