links using anchors

Is it possible in Powerpoint to link objects to other objects rather than
slides? I am in the process of creating a large interactive PPT where I want
to be able to add slides yet maintain navigation links to specific slides no
matter how many slides get added to the presentation as it is built.

If you create a link to eg slide 20 the link will still work even if you add
slides / change the order so that "slide 20" isnt slide number 20!

also, be aware this approach can sometimes fail if you have more than one
slide with the same name. So you'll want to be sure your slides are all
uniquely named.
