List Serve has too many recipients

I've created a list serve for my organization, and I get an error message
saying I can't send the mail becuase there are too many recipients.
There are only 114...

Any suggestions??

Use a different SMTP server that doesn't impose a recipient limitation, or
break up the group into smaller groups and send the message out in batches.

Split Recipients X script will do that for you. You can get it (free) at

Get an AppleScript called "Split Recipients X" from ScriptBuilders, at
http://www.scriptbuilders.net/ and you can email to all, splitting the
message into multiple copies addressed to the max Entourage will allow (30
if memory serves, I think)
