List Validation

I've got a list that refers to a named range from
another worksheet, called DiretorateID. But the validated
cells seem to accept any value, even if its not in the
list.

It works for another cell where ive just typed the
possible values in the source box, but it doesn't seem to
work if refer to a list using '='.

Any ideas?

I've used this validation a ton and if I set the Error
Alert, which is a tab on the validation window, to On and
choose the Stop sign, then it will not allow entries that
deviate from the defined list.
