Live Sync issue?

I have a user who is using Entourage 2004 (fully patched) and exchange.
Even though Send/ Receive all is set for every 10 minutes, it seems to
be updating the calendars and contacts every 2-3 minutes. This would
not be a problem, but entourage tends to hang when doing this. He has
been forced to compose emails in Word, then copy them over.

I suspect that this has something to do with Live Sync. Is there a way
to turn this off without recreating the account?

If he is using Entourage 2004 (not X), then LiveSync as such does not apply.
You cannot control the schedule for synching to Exchange. Is he in Tiger?
Tiger has problems with WebDAV, which 2004's Exchange (also projects on
iDisks and other servers) uses. Hopefully Apple will fix this in an OS
update. (Microsoft might even be able to help in the expected Exchange
update later this year, but it's really Apple's problem.)
