Load MS Office

I have the MS Office 2000 upgrade, but no longer have the
MS Office 97 soft ware. My harddrive crashed, and the
techs couldn't save enough data to make any program work,
so they reformatted and installed all the basic data from
the recovery disc. With no 'qualifying' product to
upgrade, is there anyway to get MS Office back on my
machine without having to buy a new set of discs for MS
Office?

you must have the disk kit of the previous version for the upgrade version
to work. In that case, try contacting MS to find a solution. see phone
