We installed Windows XP Professional on a computer, and it
is run ok. Went to install Office 97 on the same computer
and we get a error (isn't a valid Win32 Application) can
anyone help. The computer is AMD 2/500 CPU, 512 memory,
20GB HD.

Thank You,
Tom

I am not surprised you get this error message. Why would one want to
run both versions from the same machine? One can always save files
"downwards" to e compatible with office 97!

However, common sense would suggest that you should install Office 97
first before installing Office XP in a different folder/directory.
Always install incrementally to avoid problems.
