Login change then lost outlook accounts

N

News-MS

When I change a login on Win2000 or XP from one domain to another with same
username I loose all of my outlook(imo) info. When I reload the PST I still
have to create the accounts all over again.
Is there a way to save the account info so it isnt lost when login changes?
I understand it could be a security issue, but in our case it is more of a
nuisance.

Did you tell Windows to delete the Windows user profile? If so, the data is
gone, unless something like http://www.officerecovery.com/freeundelete/ can
help you.

If you did not hae Windows delete the user files, then the PST should still
be in the
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook folder or in whatever folder the user had stored it.
