Login, Logout From SQL Server

I'm Working with Access 97 under Windows XP, the DB is in
SQL Serever.
Tracking the process in the SQL Server, we found out that
Access keep performing Login and Logout from the sever.
Every update query first performing Login, and in the end
of the query Logout.

Has any one notice that before?
Is it a result of moving to Windows XP?
How can I avoid the Login Logout action?

Your developer is using unbound forms, making the connection, retrieving the
data, and disconnecting. For lots of users, that is a good way of handling
the connections. It's also preferrable if you have a limited number of
licenses and need to keep the number of connections down.
