looking for a job card suitable for mechanical type workshop

I work in an office that deals with repairs to commercial vessels. I need to
create a job card for each individual boat, then for all the components on
that boat, motors ( serial numbers, work performed, and by whom, what
materials were used etc)
Are there any suitable templates that I can modify?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Personally I think you would have to create your own, probably using Excel
Sketch your requirements on paper first, then create

I doubt if there is anything that will really fit what you want.

You likely could build your own application using Excel and maybe a
little help from a local friend who knows Excel's more advanced features.
The newer versions of Excel have better tools for what you want.

The better tool would be Access, the professional database program. The
only little problem with it is you need to learn Access if you have not
already mastered it. It is a real bear to get to know, but once you know
it, you will understand it was worth the effort as it is a far better
product for what you want, assuming you already know it.
