Looping Presentation/Screensaver - not thru 3rd party add-ons

Pat

I'm using XP Pro Powerpoint. I used to be able to loop a
presentation using Powerponit '97 so it would run
continuously until I stopped it.

I went and reviewed the rpdslide screensaver faq and it
suggests using a 3rd party program for that.
Unfortunately, I am using a computer that is so tight on
security, that I cannot install anything to it.

Isn't there another way?

Pat,

You do not need to convert your powerpoint presentation into a screensaver
to be able to loop it.

Just open your presentation
Click the "slide show" menu
choose "set up show"

Then tick the "loop continuously until the 'Esc' key is pressed" option

Then, when you view your show it will "loop"

Slideshow. Forgot about that nice little feature. Plus
any animated gifs work as well, just space out enough
timing between slides to allow the gif to mature.
