losing email messages

I

I have entourage x for mac.
In the last day or so, when I download my messages, I get the number of
messages as usual (like, 20 or 40 or whatever). But then only one
message -- or none -- will appear in my inbox.
Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks!

I'm having the same troubles. Even though I've set the security level
to "None," all of the messages that should be going to my inbox on my
Exchange account are going automatically to the Deleted Items on my
computer and being marked as junk. See if that is where your e-mails
are. Not sure what to do about it though.

Thanks for your reply.
My lost messages aren't in my deleted messages folder. I've removed the
junk mail filter altogether and it seems to have resolved the problem
(although created another one)
good luck.

Are they landing in the inbox under 'On my Computer'?

If so, you may have accidentally created a Mailing List Manager entry
(something that is too easy to do when marking junk mail as 'not junk').

Check the Mailing List Manager for a new entry that is sending your mail to
the local inbox.

Thank you for this tip, apparently there was a Mailing List manager
sending all mail to the Deleted Messages on My Computer and marking
them as junk, but with no rules as to which messages should be sent. I
suppose it was just sending everything there then. I'll see if this
resolves the problem and make sure to watch out for it in the future.
