Loss of Identities in Entourage 2004

I had my Powerbook out for repairs, so I transfered the Microsoft User
Data folder to my other Mac. It transferred over just fine. When I
went to transfer back to Powerbook it kept showing the older Database,
even after trashing the Microsoft User data folder and replacing it
with the most current one it would not show what should have been the
latest emails and such. I emptied the trash and it said the database
in there was busy...hmmmm I didn't think the system could access the
data in the trash. I restarted and now it wants to set up a new
account!!

Where does the Data reside for transferring from 1 mac to the
other????

The data is all in the MUD folder.

While any office app is running the database daemon will be keeping the
database open. This is the reason for the file being busy in the trash.
Restarting will have disconnected the daemon.

Entourage will be trying to create a new identity probably because the old
one was unavailable. Let it do so, then select 'switch identities' from the
entourage menu and select your original one.
