Lost all my text formatting when viewed on another machine

I have developed a presentation in PPT 2003 using certain TrueType Fonts.
When running the ppt on another machine, with the same TTFs installed, the
text formatting is distorted. All machines have the same version of PPT. I am
aware that you can embed TTFs in a PPT,which I have elected NOT to do for
this presentation, but this instance has me stumped. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Just to double-check, open the PPT file on the problem machine and go to
Format/Replace Fonts. Do you see ?? before any of the fonts in that list?
