If it's still installed on your computer, download Belarc Advisor and get
the product key there.

If not and it's an OEM version, you need to contact your computer
manufacturer.

If not and it's a full retail version, contact Microsoft.

If you read the End User License Agreement that comes with your
OEM copy of Office, you will find that the license only allows
you to install the software on computer that the software
originally came with, and you are not allowed to install the
software on any other computer. Assuming you want the CD key to
install the software on a new computer, then you need to purchase
a new copy of Office for your new computer.

OEM means you're calling your computer manufacturer and I'd be willing to
bet that they won't help you. I've only ever heard ONE person say they had
success when they called their OEM for a product number. One out of MANY.

I'm sorry. I know that's not what you wanted to hear. Depending on the
version, you might be able to buy an upgrade for Office and use that CD as
your qualifying product. If you own Office 2003 then you'd have to wait
until January 2007 for Office 2007 to be offered.

If your system still running you can use special software to recover your
Windows and Office key. Most of them support some versions of Windows and
some other Microsoft products. Also there is a products like "Recover Keys" (
http://recover-keys.com/ ) that support all Windows and Office versions and
300+ of other major software packages.

JoAnn, I thought my OE was broke. Four reply posts by
IrynaB within 12 minutes with no OP post being displayed,
just trying to get someone to go to that site.

I really think you hit the nail on the head with the SPAM
report.

Just wish you had deleted IrynaB's message before you
responded.
