lost E-mail

I am part of a small office network.We use outlook as our
default e-mail.Yesterday one of the office girls was
somehow disconnected from the network.This morning I
found that her network adapter was disabled so after
enabling it she was able to work back on the Lan,but any
E-mails that she had prior to coming off the network seem
to be gone when she opens back up Outlook.Is there a way
of retrieving these e-mails
