Lost Email and Contact files

My wife is using Office:Mac 2004 . She somehow crashed her
applications and had to reload them. Is there any way to recover the
history on the emails and contacts?

Your wife's saved email and contacts are in the Microsoft User Data folder
inside the Documents folder. Are those files still present? If so, and they
are not showing up in a re-installed copy of Entourage, try choosing "Switch
Identity" from the Entourage menu.
