Lost Emails

Yesterday, Entourage 2001 locked up my G3. After a forced quit and a
restart, I launched Entourage again. I got an error message saying
"The file cannot be found" (No file name, just "The file") A look in
the User Data folder/.Main Identities showed an EMPTY folder!
DiskWarrior recovered the following: Rules/Mailing Lists/Signatures
and Messages. The Messages file is 1.5Gb. I'm guessing that this
file contains all my missing emails. Is there anyway to recover the
contents of this file and recover the email? I have tried putting it
into the, now populated, Main Identity folder with no success, rebuilt
the Database, with the Messages file in place, also with no success.
Any and ALL suggestions are welcome. Help!

There are two other files to be recovered: "Database" and "Database Cache",
containing the messages, etc.

As previously noted, the "Database" and "Database Cache" were not
recovered. Is there anyway at all to recover information from the
1.5GB "Messages" file?
