Lost "file" on menu bar

I'm running office 2000 on a Citrix server through thin
clients and one user lost their "file" category on the
menu bar. I floated the bar to expand it but saw no sign
of "file". All other items remain. The user indicated he
may have dragged it off the screen but I am unable to
recreate that action. Please help find or replace.

Hi Dave,

Any hint as to which application you are referring to?

Without more to go on, right-click any toolbar and select Customize.
On the Commands tab in the Categories section select "Built-in Menus".
Find the File menu in the Commands list and drag/drop it back onto the
menu bar.
