Lost forward & reply messages

I've set up Entourage to use my Exchange account (remotely) but all the
emails I forward or send as replies do not turn up in the Sent Items folder
and I've not found a setting that will enable this.

Is there one or should I set up a rule?

Thanks,
Tony.

Hi Tony!

Can you clarify? In Entourage itself, you may forward or reply to a
message and then that message literally disappears?

Do you have an Outgoing rule that moves messages? Have you searched for
any of the missing messages? Do they appear in your Sent Items on
Outlook Web Access (OWA)?

Hi Bill. Thanks for the reply. I now cannot replicate the behaviour - two
messages I just replied to and forwarded both appeared in the Sent Items
folder - must be the stress of getting used to a Mac! I'll go and have a
nice lie down before bothering you guys again. Sorry.

Upto 10am this morning everything was working perfectly and now I can
connect, send mail but it will not download any mail from Exchange.

If I log onto OWA via a browser I can see new messages but Entourage will
not bring them down.

Try control-clicking your Inbox and choosing Folder Properties > Empty Cache

Hi,

On Office 2008 with 12.1.2 update connected to an Exchange box via AD.

Upto 10am this morning everything was working perfectly and now I can
connect, send mail but it will not download any mail from Exchange.

If I log onto OWA via a browser I can see new messages but Entourage will
not bring them down.

Tried uninstalling Office and reapplying all 3 updates in the correct
sequence but it still does not download mail.

Help pls!

Thanks
Russ

you have created you message as a reply to one in a totally different
thread - please can you create a new message (not a reply) for a new topic.

Thanks - even though the Mactopia pages do not display it, proper News
Clients will show you message threaded with the original topic, which
causes confusion and reduces the chances of it being answered.
