I installed panther and when I opened my Entourage all
of my contacts in the address book were gone. I also had
several folders that completley disapeared. I can not
find them, any ideas or suggestions?
Do still have part of your previous mails or is everything
gone? Entourage stores everything in one single database
(mails, folder, contacts, schedule, etc.) and you could
restore it by finding your "old" (pre-install) "Microsoft
User Data" folder and putting it into your
current "Documents" folder, where it'll replace it's "new"
(and supposedly empty) equivalent.
But if it's just some of your stuff that vanished, it
might be somewhat different...
How did you install Panther, by the way? "Clean install"
or upgrading the current OS? It seems that a clean install
is a quite safer option.
