Mac BU

After using the Entourage update side by side with the Outlook 2003
Beta, I have to wonder how there could be such a disconnect between
the Mac BU and the Outlook development team. It's a shame that the
Entourage update (in dev for 2yrs?!!) can't come at least close to the
features found in Outlook 2003. I'm no conspiratist, but it makes you
wonder if Microsoft is intending to keep downplayong Mac products.
However, that doesn't seem to be the case with the Office X products.
There is a lot of similarity in available features and some believe,
including me, that the Mac office suite is a better product than its
Windows counterpart. Does anyone else feel the Entourage product is
severely lacking especially in light of the Outlook beta? Thanks for
your replies

I can't agree that the Office X suite isn't inferior to the PC versions,
especially for PowerPoint. There are loads of very valuable features in the
PC version of PowerPoint that do not appear in the Mac version. It is a
great disappointment.

There are also some great features available in the Mac version which are
unavailable to the owners of the PC version, at least on my copy of Office
XP (Professional). The biggest one I've found is the ability to use Quick
Time transitions on the Mac version, while these don't seem to appear on the
PC version. There also seems to be more sounds available for slide
transitions on the Mac version. Of course you can place any sound you want
to in this position, provided it is in the correct format.

I guess there will always be some good and some not so good for both
platforms, but most of us will still prefer a Mac version!!!

You don't have to be a conspirationalist to mistrust Microsoft.

Does anyone know how to add a 'reply to' address feature to Entourage. It
appears to only support replies to the sender, thus if you want to change
replies you must change the sender which of course, you cannot do unless you
are valid on the sender ISP smtp server.

Ideas or fixes or work=arounds are welcome.

Thx.
