Hello all,
Our mail server recently changed, and along with it, the login/password
info. We have a system of about 5 macs, all hooked up to an asanta
router through ethernet. After the mail server switch, 2 machines are
having issues logging into their accounts - getting an 'invalid
password' error. The same information pasted into a different machine
running Entourage goes right through to the account, and doesn't hang
on the password. On the trouble machine, we can access the mail through
the web, but using ANY mail program for those accounts fails on
password (even Apple's built in mail). Again, any other machine on the
network seems to connect fine. Could this be a router/ethernet/firewall
issue? Or does entourage play some role?
