MAC G5 OSX will not connect to W2K3 SBS Exchange Server

Hello Newsgroup,

I am trying to connect two MAC computers to a MS Small Biz server, with
exchange.

These systems do not have Entourage or Outlook 2001. Just the plain MAC
email client.

I have POP and/or Full Exchange SMTP running on the server (Windows 2K3
SBS). Group Policy is set so the MACs see the shares on the server, etc.

I am still unable to get the MACs to send email to the server - I get a
message that say the MAC email client cannont connect to the server.

I have tried configuring an account as POP, and as EXCHANGE, but no luck
in either case. What am I missing here? Any help will be greatly
appreciated.

Using Mail with Exchange requires to have IMAP running on the Exchange
server.
LDAP will be required for the global address list queries.
Mail will not sync address book and calendar or access the public
folders with the Exchange server.
