MAC Keyboard Equivalent to PC

In Windows our SPAM software works by dragging and dropping a copy of
the email that is either spam or not spam to the good or bad folder.
In windows we held down Control Key and dragged it to the appropriate
file. It put a copy of the email in the spam folder and left a copy in
the original folder. Is there a MAC Office 2008 equivalent to this
Control, Drag and Drop that copies an email,leaves a copy in the from
folder and copies a new copy to the new folder?

Use the option key - you will see a + added to your cursor that indicates a
copy is being made.

The reverse works with the command key - it will get rid of the + when it
defaults to on.
