Mac NOT overwriting handheld

Okay,

I'm trying to overwrite data on my handheld with data on my Mac --
specifically the Calendar.

I'm using Missing Sync, and am clearly asking it to do the above, but all
that's happening is that the Mac data is being ADDED to the handheld, rather
than overwriting it (in other words, the bad data isn't going away!).

Any suggestions?
