Mac os x with exchange

Hi I have the latest update for mac office v x but I cannot receive emails
from the exchange server. The number next to the inbox tells me I have new
emails however they do not download.

Any ideas?

I can send emails fine.

Click the Inbox, and then press Option-Command-L. That forces the Inbox to
fully refresh. After it has refreshed you should be able to see the
messages marked unread.
