Mac -> PC migration

Hi all,

First off sorry for all you Mac lovers but it's not my call :) I'm
about to migrate a few Mac (OS 9) to PC (windows XP). They all have
Entourage and I wanted to know if there are some resources that could
help me out to save the messages contained in Entourage (as well as
address books and calendar ideally). An Exchange 2003 Server will be
installed ultimately for the PC to collaborate.

My questions are the following :

1. Is there an Exchange update for Entourage as there is for Entourage
X
2. Does Entourage X work on Mac OS 9
3. Can we migrate messages from Entourage to Outlook 2001 (still on
Mac OS9)

My ideas are the following (correct me if I'm way wrong)

1. Install the Exchange 2003 Server and connect my Mac clients on it,
move the messages into my Exchange inbox et voila ! (maybe I'm crazy,
let me know)
2. That's if there is not an add on for Entourage and Entourage X is
working on OS9 then I'd install X and try solution 1
3. Pretty straight forward in this case

I've read some stuff about some scripts...

Thank for all the precious help

Michael

No. If the Exchange server has IMAP services turned on, Entourage 2001 will
be able to access it.

No.

An Exchange server would be the best way to do this. Outlook 2001 will show
enclosed messages as attachments and they can be dragged into a folder, but
this is impractical for large numbers of emails.

This will work if your Exchange server has the necessary services turned on.

migrating from Entourage to Outlook.
