macbook fan runs because of sync service

my macbook fan runs all the time and when i looked at the activity
monitor i noticed that sync service is running at 99% or thereabouts.
this has been happening for short time, but i can't make it stop.
anyone had this problem and solved it?

I've seen that once with an older version of Office. Is your version of
Office eprfectly up to date?? What version of the System do you use??
