Macro Assignments to AutoShapes

I am a button freak. I use a LOT of buttons to invoke
various macros. My buttons are all AutoShapes (usually
arrows or rectangles) which I assign a macro to. My
problem is that I sometimes forget which macro I assigned
to a particular button (it might be an old version of the
macro, for example). My question is: is there a function
that I can invoke that will tell me which macro (if any) is
assigned to a particular button?

Right-click on the AutoShape > Assign Macro.......and in the smaller window
labeled "Macro name:", the macro currently assigned to that AutoShape will
appear..............

You're welcome.........I had the same problem until just a short while ago
and someone showed me that trick.........now I put a short text "name" in
the AutoShape which corresponds to the name and function of the
macro......it helps a little..........
