macro copy data wb1 matching date to wb2

Can someone please help,

I need a macro which copies a range of data from one workbook to another.
Wb2 is a monthly summary report which I need to create using the daily data
from wb1. I need the macro to open wb2, then look at the single date on wb1,
find the matching date in a column of dates in wb2, and then copy a range of
data from wb1 alongside the matching date in wb2, if can;t find says date not
found and ends????
