Macro function in Word

I’ve been using the macro funcion in word for years, printing product labels for our customers. However a short time ago this feature stopped working for no apparant reason. I’ve tried all the different settings in security to no avail, even phoned microsoft support but they were not able to help me either. The lady’s final suggestion was to try this forum.
Can anyone help me please?

see if you problem is related to your windows update.

Have you repaired the app in questions (e.g. Word)?

Manually checking for updates (for most Office apps go to File > Account > Update options) in the app might resolve the issue.
