I wonder if someone might have an answer to what is a very annoying
problem. For a long time I have used Word macros for common tasks I do
(in particular, inserting various OLE objects into documents).
However, lately the macros (it seems) have become corrupted. In
particular, if I launch Equation Editor via my macro, occasionally
(perhaps 1 in 5 times) the text will become garbled, and the program
will behave (quite strangely!) as though the Control key is constantly
down  so for example if I type just 'q', it will bring up the
Quit dialog box. If I do not use the macro (if I manually insert the
OLE object from the Insert menu), it works fine. I've tried deleting
the normal.dot template, uninstalling and reinstalling Office, the
works. Any ideas? Thanks...
