Macro to Change Image Size?

D

Davy

After a trip I frequently put all the images from my digital camera onto a
page on my intranet.

I Insert/Picture/From File and select each one then Right
Click/Properties/Change size (keeping aspect ratio) to 800 pixel width then
resample. It gets a bit tedious after 50 images!

I am novice level VBA in Word and Excel but never used it in FP. I wonder
whether a macro could do the resize/resample bit?

Anyone any thoughts? I use FP2000 with VBA version 6 I think.

many thanks in advance.

You can automate the process w/ VBA, but I don't recommend it
- plus all you appear to be doing is changing the display size of your images, not the file size, so you page load times are going
to be very high

FP is not an image editor and you should not be using FP to resize your images (unless you don't care about quality)
- you should resize your images (resample to lower resolution and file size) for the web before you File Import in FP

There are many image editors that do batch resizing (resampling), or you can a the free one that does it at
