Macromedia Breeze and/or recording sound

Hello,

You guys have been a lifesaver the last couple of weeks as we struggle
to convert other department's PowerPoint Presentations into CBTs. We
use Macromedia Breeze to turn our PPT presentations into Flash Files.
The files then live on the Breeze Server which is also our LMS. Of the
myriad of problems with Breeze is that our sound production is spotty.
I can't get a clear answer from Macromedia about how to remedy the
situtation. For example, sound quality varies from slide to slide,
volume control is an issue and so is background noise. I know that
most of you do not have experience with Macromedia Breeze, but many of
you do have experience adding audio to your presentation. What I am
looking for is a set of Best Practices for recording audio in PPT.
What procedures and equipment do you guys use to record flawless audio?

Thanks!

Kim Forbes
