Mail delivered to different Inboxes

One of my users has brought me an Entourage problem I can't puzzle out.

He's using Entourage 11.2.1 and his email comes from an Exchange
Server. When he receives new mail, some of it goes to the Inboxd of his

Exchange account and some of it goes to his Inbox under Folders on My
Computer. I've looked through his rules (he has none) and all his
preference settings. I've deleted and recreated his account to no
avail. Has anyone run into this behavior before?

Did you check all the panes for mail rules? There are separate tabs for
different types of accounts.

It may be worth checking his Mailing List Manager and Junk Mail Filter as
well - these can also move messages, and when they loose track of the folder
they are meant to move them into they default to the local inbox.

I am having the exact same problem. I checked my Mailing List Manager
and found 2 rules named 'untitled' and untitled 2'. I didn't put these
there. One of them does indeed specify to move messages to my Mac, and
the other specifies to move messages to my IBM Thinkpad. Are these
installed by default when installing Outlook (on the PC) or Entourage
(on the Mac?)

This is probably why some messages stay on the server and some are
moved off the server to the Mac which means I can't read them from my
Thinkpad in Outlook.

No MLM actions are defined by default. They have probably been created when
you marked a message as 'not junk' and checked the box to create an MLM
entry for that message.
