Mail Error

I am using Entourage (on OS10.2.6), latest update and it displays an error
message at startup:
"The action could not be completed. Mail Error"

I can no longer send email or display email in the preview pane. Also most
functions from within the email window are not working (delete etc. ...)
It may have started trying to send an email with 3 jpg attachments?

Anybody any ideas?

Try rebuilding the database. First, go to Entourage -> Turn Off Office
Notifications. Now, quit Entourage, and then restart Entourage holding down
the Option key. When the Rebuild dialog box comes up, choose to do a
Typical Rebuild.
