Mail Merge from Excel, losing format of zip codes, one machine onl

As the subject suggests, just one machine is having the problem.
I have a user who can log into other machines here, and the mail merge works
without problems. BUT on HER machine, the zip codes cells lose their format.

The Excel spreadsheet is fine, because it's shared with other users for
similar tasks.

So, she can successfully complete the mail merge on any other machine except
hers.

Is it possible the 'normal.dot' file is corrupt?
