mail merge not importing duplicate first names

WIN XP, OL 2002

I'm importing a list of contacts from a tab delimited .txt file. For
records that share the same FIRST name, it exludes all records but one.

IOW, Dave Anderson and Dave Peterson don't both import. Only the one that
appears first in the file.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
