Mail Merge Print Range Problem

C

Chris Case

In Word 2003 SP2 I can only print a range of records by typing the range as
e.g. s11-s13 for pages 11 to 13. It seems not able to interpret the Section
Break (New Page) as a page. Without the s prefix, nothing prints. Also when
asking it to print all records it stops after so many for no apparent reason.
Why is this? Thanks for any help.

The document created by executing a formletter to a new document is divided
into Sections. Therefore, to print part of it, it is necessary to specify
which Sections you want to print which is the reason for using the "s" As
the numbering of the pages in each section starts at 1, and there are less
than 11 pages in each section, pages 11 to 13 do not exist and therefore
nothing will print if you specify just 11 to 13.

How are you asking it to print all records? Does the data for all records
appear in the document created by executing the mailmerge?

Thank you - I now understand the sections. I went back to my client about
the printing stopping after so many pages, but he is not having the problem
with other documents, so maybe the one document had a corruption or something.

Please therefore consider my problem solved and thanks again.
