Mail Recipients asked to install language

[using Office 03] When I send a message to other users
of Outlook, when they open the message they are prompted
to install Japanese language (fonts). I regularly update
Office from the MS downloads site, but don't remember
anything about updating international languages. My
emails are in English and I have never made any
adjustments to settings or preferences for language(s).

When the recipients click 'cancel', everything is fine.
The prompt appears for every message, though, and it is
annoying.

Anything I can do on my end to correct the problem?
