mail rules not working - ANOTHER QUERY (RELATED)

i had a problem with the rules no longer working after i rebuilt my
database. turned out there was one BAD rule int he batch. o only found
it by going through each rule by hand. fortunately it was about the
10th one i checked.

now, however i have a month's worth of un-sorted emails. is there a way
to run all my rules on my entire inbox, so that messages get sorted
into the appropriate subfolder automatically? when i used eudora pro, i
could simply define the inbox and then run the rules. this worked quite
well and quite quickly, and was a useful way to make sure nothing got
lost. thanks - peter

Go to the Inbox, select a message, go to Edit > Select All, and then go to
Message > Apply Rule > All Rules to apply rules to every message in the
Inbox.

Yes, just select the messages, and from the Message menu select 'apply
Rules', then 'All Rules'.
