Mail sent from POP account is received as new mail on Entourage?

Hello,

I imagine there is a simple fix to this. I currently have Entourage
set up to download messages from my G-Mail account. For some reason,
it downloads all of the messages I send from my G-Mail Account as if
they are new messages that were received from my G-Mail account. Tends
to clutter up the inbox with messages sent by me.

Anyone know how to resolve this?

Go to Tools > Rules, click the "Mail (POP)" tab, and click the "New" toolbar
button to create a new rule that looks like this:

Rule name: Delete Sent Gmail
* Execute actions if all criteria are met

IF Account is <your Gmail account>
IF From is <your Gmail e-mail address without the angle brackets>
THEN Change Status Read
THEN Delete Message
ˆ Enabled

Click OK to save the rule. Now messages received from Gmail that appear to
have been sent by you will be moved to the "Deleted Items" folder
automatically.
