Mail vanishes

I use in Entourage 2004 the online access function with my email account.
Time by time I have the following behavior:
I click on a mail header to read the message, but the header changes to the
one of the next mail, the original mail vanishes...

Rebuild the database does not help, the only way to bring the mail back is
to emty the chache.

Iss there a workaround for this bug (never occured in Entourage v.X.).

I wish I knew the answer. I've had this same problem using Entourage v.
X, so don't expect it to go away!

Sometimes resizing the window or switching to the address view and back
again to mail view can help, but it is very annoying. I've even had it
happen to an entire folder of messages!
